In this musing, I focus on sleep. When you think of ways to increase your overall health and well-being, you may think of changing your diet or adding exercise. But sleep is often not prioritized. Sleep affects every aspect of your life, diet, exercise, and interactions during the day.
Spring is Kapha season. It is a time of damp, chilly weather here in New England. Ayurveda teaches that to balance Kapha we need to apply the opposites, something with heat to dispel the damp. The perfect antidote to this is a hot spiced chai tea.
